A collaboration between Artist and Educator Emilie Giles and Designer Alan Waldock The Conductive Kit Company is an ongoing arts and technology exploration into traditional craft culture crossed with creative technology.

The outcomes of this is craft based kits workshops which teach people how to work with low tech conductive materials such as conductive thread, fabric and paint whilst creating objects such as papercraft models, textile based hand-puppets and more. The project also gives the opportunity for experimentation with traditional arts, craft and design practices such as screen printing, sewing, felting, knitting and origami.

We ran our first workshop at the Phoenix Brighton in June 2013 and our second at the V&A as part of the Digital Design Weekend in September 2013. Check out our calendar on our Workshops page to find out upcoming events!
