2 DAY DIGITAL WORKSHOP: Learn the basics of building your very own interactive plush toy!

This workshop will teach you the basics of creating circuits from conductive thread as well as basic microcontroller programming for bringing your creations to life using Arduino and ATtinys. All of this will be embedded into a soft toy created from felt which you will take home with you.

All electronics and materials will be supplied – all you need to bring is your imagination.

Interactive Hand Puppet - V&A Digital Design Weekend

Learn to create a soft  circuits using  conductive  thread and fabric  whilst  also  learning  basic  electronics. The workshop is perfect for anyone interested in craft practices who wishes to gain some beginner technical skills whilst  also catering for techie people who want to get crafty!

All materials will be provided  including a specially designed  kit by The Conductive  Kit  Company which includes a hand  puppet  templateLEDs and sensors

This workshop is part of the V&A's Digital Design Weekend and will happen at 10:15am - 1:15pm and then again at 2pm - 5pm.
